The Great Hall in Strangers’ Hall, Norwich (15th century)
The Great Hall in Strangers’ Hall, Norwich, the home of a number of wealthy merchants and persons of public standing. The hall was built in the 15th century and appears here as it would have done in the 16th century when the Sotherton family had made improvements, including the large stone bay window (left). The entrance to the parlour can be seen to the right.
